Our Journey

Founded in 2019 by Chris Winton, CW Football has quickly become one of the most trusted and respected names in football development in the region. Starting with a single centre in Wollaston, we’ve grown exponentially over the last 6 years to now run three dedicated development centres in Cranfield, Wollaston, and Bedford. Our focus has always been on providing high-quality coaching, empowering young athletes, and making football accessible to everyone.

From day one, our mission has been simple: to inspire and nurture talent at every level, while fostering a passion for the game in a fun, safe, and structured environment.

Our Philosophy

We aim to instill discipline, respect, and a love for the game through positive coaching methods. Our UEFA A & B Licence coaches lead by example, using their extensive knowledge and experience to guide players through their footballing journey.

We’re proud to offer more than just development centres — we work in partnership with schools, local clubs, and community groups to bring football to those who need it most. Our energetic and inspiring team of younger coaches work alongside our more experienced staff to create a dynamic coaching atmosphere that is both professional and engaging

Our Coaches

Our coaches are the backbone of CW Football. With a mix of experienced UEFA A Licence and UEFA B Licence holders, alongside passionate young coaches, we provide a balanced and energetic approach to player development. Each coach is DBS-checked, fully insured, and committed to continuous professional development (CPD) to stay on top of the latest coaching methodologies and best practices.

We are also proud of the fact that we invest in coach mentoring and development programs, ensuring that every member of our team is equipped to deliver world-class football coaching.
